Any ideas how to make extra money from home?
I've been looking at how to make extra money while staying home with my baby daughter. I've been working part-time but ideally I really want to stay home with my daughter. Any ideas anyone? Please help me..
I do a few other different things to make money at home from the Internet
(1) I sell stuff on the Internet, basically I sold extra items that I had at home or I go to yard sales, flea markets, discount bins at my local stores and resell them on the net. I sell small items on Ebay and larger items on a local auction site by doing this I save on shipping costs etc. Just go to Ebay for more info
(2) I have a website and a blog that makes me money, took me about six months to start making money. The trick is to have regular updated content and traffic and I have my blog help me direct traffic to my website etc.
(3) I also make a little extra pocket money by doing easy things like "reading emails", basically all I do is open a email, click on the link, wait for a timer to expire and move on to another email

What is the quickest way to make extra money (LEGALLY!) without having to get a second job?
I work fulltime…I hate it..but it pays the mortgage and provides healthcare. My hubby is semi retired and has a part time job. Even when he had his full time job we were always a little short. We made a few adjustments after he retired from him job due to stress.
I've tried every "work at home" thing most of them were scams…please no MLMs!! Did them all!!! Do you guys know of anything creative I can do from home to make some extra money? I can't get a part time job since I have kids and I'm already tired at the end of the day! Thanks!!
I was in this almost same dilemma and I started selling stuff on ebay. I started with stuff in my basement and closet, then moved on to the garage and started selling "junque" (high class junk) for friends and family for a commission. The best part is once I got started I got into a routine, usually worked at my computer one or two nights a week and one LONG evening of packaging stuff and standing at the post office. I have a friend that sells her craft (button necklaces) at the museum of modern art gift shop. Another friend got some local shops in towns near her to sell her glass art pieces. Another friend sister sold her decorated jeans (she didn't sew them she tore them pinned them and wrote all over them) by word of mouth for a while. Just call around, and ask friends and family if they know anyone. What do you make by the way?

When I needed to make extra money, I took in college term papers to type. Another thing would be to sell things on Ebay or Craigslist. You could watch/walk pets (this is a biggie this time of year)–even collect mail and water plants. Those things can be advertised in neighborhood association flyers for free, usually. If you know someone who has a business, like a small restaurant, feel free to hit them up for a little work. They may need it this time of year, who knows? Good Luck!

I was the Branch Manager of a payday loan company, but Ohio passed a law that put the company out of business. I am now out of work and pregnant. Where’s the husband/father? Your company going out of business doesn’t negate your skills and/or abilities to work from home. Have you tried Craigslist, monster.com or NY TIMES.com with “telecommute” selected? Or will the tax-paying public be supporting TWO of your illlegitimate children?

Presuming you have a specific interest, other then just the "web", you can monetize (generate money with your interest) this the easiest on the Internet.
There are two major categories you can make money on the 'net. You can sell a product or service, or you can sell space for advertisement.
Both requires "eyeballs" or individuals visiting your site.
Your product or service, can be anything. It could be a tangible asset (something you can hold like a pencil), intengible (such as a software, or article, or electronic book), or a service (such as translation, or proof-reading).
These products and services will require you to set up, in essence a store front.
You will need to advertise your site on other web sites, and various other methods to drive more and more people to see, or visit your web site. A certain percentage will buy your product.
The other side, is of course selling advertising space on your web site. Your commodity is traffic. The person from the previous example needs people visiting their site, and you have people visiting your site, but no products. So you put an advertisement of the first person's site on your site – and they pay you a type of comission. Depending on the agreement, it could be making money when a visitor to your site sees the advertisement, clicks on the advertisement, or when the visitor following the advertisement purchases the product or service from the other web site.
As you can see, both sides of the 'net business model depends on "traffic".

You have to be really careful, because you could end up at least wasting your time and at worst wasting your money. If you are interested in writing, set up a blog on a free blog site, like blogger.com. If your following is strong, you could make money doing something you like. There are advertisers, like AdSense and AdBrite, that will pay you to put their ad on your site. You get paid on a per click basis. Be careful, though, as these folks have a low threshold for fraud. If you go and click your own ads, or someone fraudulently clicks ads for you, you could get shut down.
