What is the easiest way to save money?

I want to save as much money as possible.

What is the easiest way to save money?

(I have bills too)

Pay off any debts that have a high interest rate first. High interest charges can bleed you out quickly every month. Then look at your discretionary spending and see if there is anything you can cut back on. If you are young, there are several ways to save that are tax deductible, such as IRAs and 401(k) accounts. You can withdrawal from these accounts tax free at age 59. I would also look for ways to save in energy costs if possible. I would come up with a specific amount that you want to budget out for expenses each month and put any amount under budget into savings.

How do you save your money?

How do you save money? I started saving money by opening up an savings account and also being really thrifty.
How much do you save monthly? I am planning to save around $700 per months after I finished up paying of my credit card within a few months.

I pay myself first and last. As soon as I receive money, I transfer 1/3 into my savings so it is harder to access. Any unanticipated money I receive, I put directly into savings and that includes rebates, gifts, taxes, refunds, bonuses, incentives, etc. And, I pay myself last. Any money I have leftover after paying my bills also goes into savings. I have no debt and live below my means, so saving is pretty easy for me. Plus, I am a tightwad miser who rarely pays full price for anything. So whenever, I save money buying something, I also put the actual amount I saved into my savings, too.

How can we save money on gas and oil these days?

It seems that gas prices go up and down all the time. Sometimes, it limits what we do. Is there a way to save money?

Obviously drive less, but i when you do drive there are a few things you can do to get better mileage. Numero uno is drive the speed limit. The faster you go the worse your mileage is going to be. Number 2, make sure your tires are inflated to the max psi as stated on the tire. Also, if you drive a stick you can put it in neutral when going down hills. It's mostly common sense stuff. No jack rabbit starts, stuff like that. And use the expensive synthetic motor oil. It might cost more initially but you don't have to change it as often and you get better mileage to boot.

How do I save money on lunch or any meal?

I get fast food or eat at resturants almost on a daily basis. especially during lunch. i am wasting too much money. i wanna save up to get a 71 charger or something.

how can i get a good cheap meal? sometime i can get at costco where i buy huge quantities. fast and good in protein.
i need protein.

You have to start making and taking your own food with you..
It's healthier and you'll feel better because eating fast food has too much sodium and too much fat..
Make your lunch, dinner …
If you cook at home, make a little extra for the next day.
If you don't cook at home, you're gonna have to plan a weeks meals before you shop once a week…
Buy lunch meat, tuna, eggs, cheese, veggies, fruit, crackers, olives, dairy (cottage cheese, cream cheese, yogurt, and chocolate bars…
Get creative by looking on-line for brown-bag ideas…
Martha Stewart is one, or Rachael Ray, Food T.V network..
Have fun with it, and get a Thermos for your drinks..
You can save a lot of money not buying drinks out..Bring your own water, make Ice Tea, etc..
G'luck and I'll be thinkin' about you!
I just made my husband's lunch..2 turkey sandwiches on whole wheat with lettuce, and a bag of grapes, and a chocolate brownie….

Whats the best way to budget in order to save money for a holiday?

A small holiday is always appreciated. However money does not grow on trees! I have heard people talking about making a budget to save money, then before I know it they are off on a holiday!!
Does anyone have any ideas to budget in order to save money.

Set up a Spreadsheet on your PC.

At the top insert your TOTAL INCOME.
Underneath this, list and enter your TOTAL EXPENDITURE.
Dont forget to include misc. living expenses. (ready Cash needed for incidentals)
You will find, after a couple of months that you may be wasting a lot of money on frivolous things.
Don’t try to save too much at a time…dont leave your self short.

Save your change is one idea.

Hope this helps..and enjoy your holiday.

What is the best way to save money for a tween?

Hi, I earn a fair bit at home, $10 a week plus about $20-$30 Extra for helping out and 20 Quid (Pounds) from my Nana. What is the best sceme for me to save my money and have a little to spend as well?

Do you have a savings account? If not, you should open one. You might also consider opening a money market account. You might earn more interest there than in a regular savings account.

Make a budget for yourself. This would be just the same as what you might do if you had a job and regular bills to pay, but will be just a bit simpler. You can make just two categories: saving & spending money. Decide on an amount that you MUST save every month. If you're getting $50/mo or week, maybe you will choose to save $30 and spend $20/mo or week. You can pick a number that you think is fair. The catch is that you must stick to it. EVERY month, you should deposit the money budgeted for savings. You should try not to make exceptions. If there is something that you really want, you should save your spending money until you have enough to buy it. Do not take money from your savings.

Do a little research about earning interest on your money. You might be surprised how you can earn interest just for having money. The more money you have, the more quickly it grows!

Once you have a little money in your savings account, you might consider opening a CD (certificate of deposit). This could work well for you because you will earn more interest and limit your access to your money so that you aren't tempted to make a withdrawl. Finally, if this money will be used to pay for college, you might want to look into various tax sheltered savings accounts – 529 plans, ESAs.

Which is the best way to save money on heat?

I used to think it saved money to lower the thermostat when I left the house but a former landlord told me that raises the cost of heating because the heater must then work harder to get to the higher temperature when it's turned back up. My furnace is natural gas so which is the correct way to save money, lowering the thermostat or keeping a constant temperature?

Heat loss is based on temperature differential. Long furnance cycles in general are more efficient than short cycles. For these reasons it is more efficient to turn down thermostat when leaving. An exception is when using a heat pump (cannot perform a large temperature swing, so turns on more expensive backup heat).

Check out an energy star thermostat at the hardware store. It is not one with a fixed temperature, it is one that turns down the temperature automatically when you are away.

How can I save money on my credit cards?

I have some debt and my intrest rates are ridiculous right now. What steps can I take to save some money, without ruining my credit?

You can try applying for a low-interest credit card and transfer the balance to your new credit card, then try to pay it off as soon as you can. Don't transfer balances too often though, cuz that will lower your credit score. It's better to pay them off than moving them around.
