So he worked odd jobs and he would hit restaurants close to closing time. He'd ask them how their computer systems were running and if they said lousy he would come back with "give me your left-overs at the end of the night and I will get your systems up and running and will keep them that way. Or he'd try a bakery and in exchange for cleaning the floors and bathrooms they would give him the day's leftovers - like a loaf of bread and cookies, etc. You know what you're capable of doing.
