What are some good ways to save money?
I might be getting a puppy that requires a lot of care. I need to find ways to either save or earn money. Help?
Before you can have a truly workable savings plan you must know how much you have comming in and where it is all going…Track your spending for say a month (write down everything you spend when you spend it)at the end of the month if you have done that you will see everywhere you spend…then you will be able to make cuts…you will be surprised how many times you buy little things that you can stop buying and save the money…and yes it does add up.

Pay cash instead of using credit cards. It will help save money because it’s always harder to part with cash, and too easy to just put a purchase on a credit card.
Eat more at home instead of eating out
Pack your own lunch for work and bring your own drinks to work
It’s the little day-to-day things that add up.

don’t get a puppy,
spend less then you earn
have money taken directly from your paycheck and put into savings.
DO NOT TOUCH SAVINGS.
and oh yea, don’t get a puppy. They cost a lot!

Shop smart at the grocery store! Clip coupons, make foods from scratch, and don’t be wasteful (wants vs. needs).
Here’s an article that elaborates:

I know pets are very expensive, but being a dog-owner myself I know how wonderful they can be as well. My friend Jeremy wrote an article on saving money with pets (choosing affordable breeds, saving money on food, etc.), you can read it here:

Hope that helps!
